When we started the band, my fist goal was a concert at the city’s biggest rock-pop club, Sticky Fingers. A goal we succeeded with, and in the past few years we have been playing there a lot.
This year we were only going to make one show. But when we were down in Hultsfred at the Rookie festival we ran into David, the club manager, and he was really psyched on a Christmas show. So why would say no?!
Seen you the day after Christmas on the sticky dance floors…
Yesterday’s surprise was a really successful one. We made a spontaneous gig at a private party that took place somewhere in Gothenburg with friends and acquaintances.
Everything was organized by our friend David Hammarberg and went under the name “Munhålan”. We were also part of the arrangement by Oscar and I spinning beer cans in the bar the first few hours. And Linus having the honor of running two dj sets during the night. (A list of the songs he played will be up shortly)
The actual show started by David cutting a rope and then the chaose broke loose. We typically does not play with a lot of alcohol in our bodies but this night was an exemption to be a little more punk, for once. Also thanks a lot to Peter Hayward that helped us with the mixing and stuff during the gig!
In a few hours I take the car to leave from the warm sea winds for further studies. But have no fear. Everything will proceed as planned, and probably it will be a couple of trips back to the city that heats the most…
