From Gothenburg, Sweden comes The Berndt, a band consisting of five youngsters with the intention of bringing you the new Swedish sound. Their music is an energetic mix of indie, pop and punk with catchy refrains, crazy beats and melodies that stick like super glue.

The Berndt is a live band. A concert with The Berndt leaves no one unaffected. After lots of shows all around Sweden and shows at some of the largest festivals such as Hultsfred and Arvika, they are now an experienced live act. On stage they perform their music in a focused chaos. They invite you to dance, sweat or just burst out if you feel like that. It is an explosion of energy, emotions and fiery rhythms.

The Berndt are now in the final stages of completing their first album GBGBG, recorded and produced in Studio Lablaza, Gothenburg by electro legend Dieter Schöön (Svensson, Silverbullit) and mastered in Studio Grandquick by Philip Granqvist (The Tough Alliance, El Perro Del Mar, Kristoffer Ragnstam). The album is set for release on the January 27th, 2010 on the self-managed label Pophat Music. To promote the album The Berndt will do a European tour February 6th – 21st, 2010.
